I feel bad about some of the people out there who dont have that fun group to play with, well why not have the GWGuru community make a guild, this way you KNOW that players will be on and you may even witness the first 100 man guild with like 100% activite ALL THE TIME! lol. People that frequent a fan site you know learn the tricks of the game and often help others, it is just a thought, but I feel it should only be started my like one of the people who manage the site.

Recruit ppl with the proven track record that post alot and tells you they still play the game often.

Hmmm. I might be interested. Maybe, maybe not.

My guild has only two members. And the other guy hasn't played in over a month.

I've got a few friends who are considering purchasing the game, though, so they might bump our numbers up a little.

The second ANet releases a Mac client, though, my guild will go up to...four.

lol, kinda figured, I would not leave mine, but I thought for those people that frequent yet guild hop due to not being happy. Sounds like there is alot of em sadly. My guild consists of friends that I known for like over a year.

Hell no I wouldn't join it, at least not if everyone from guru just went and joined it. Hell everyone and their mothers would want to be in it, and quite frankly I'm not that fond of everyone and their mothers. A guild should be a group of friends, not a group involving a shitload of people who join for the same reason they try to get their post count up. (The reason for that is no reason at all.)

we'd have to have like...some kind of sub-guild system so that we could have the roleplayers, and the GvG/PvP, and the normal, everyday, PvE players congregate every week or something and go and do something together.

True enough. Although, I do feel a little bit of comradery among the forum members every time I visit. (All together now: AWWW!!!)

Maybe there could be a section in this forum for GWGuru in-game events? Everyone could stay in their own guilds...

I suppose you could have a 'house guild' for the site, invitation only...but then that would just set up some sort of elitism. I mean, come on...we have enough of that with the mods.

True enough, PieXags only has this "Lasareth" button. I reach to the side of my moniter and hit it and it goes "BEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAARRRREERRRRRRRRRWAWAAAWAAAAR RRRRRR", and then Lasareth shows up at my door and goes "What do you need, Pie?!" and I say "Oh Las I'm so glad you're here! I need a ban on this son of a gun asap." Then he goes "-BAM- Done." And then we laugh.

I'd be up for a GWGuru event thing though, I will admit I do have a few good friends among the members of these forums, but you know what I mean when I say every new guy who finds the OTA wants to be "part of the group". It just doesn't mesh sometimes!

Yeah a guru guild would just not work out all that wonderfully. But, I wouldn't mind there being some sort of thread (or forum maybe) where people can network for the game a bit. But whatever, I think it would up my enjoyment of the game a bit to be able to play some more fissure and UW runs without a bunch of morons, or a bunch of asshats.
